How To Crowd Fund
& Generate Revenue Online
Join our insider's group showing you the steps you need
to take to crowd fund & how to make money online.
What is CrowdFunding?
The simple answer is, obtaining funds for an idea, business, project or campaign (etc) through the interest and generosity of people within our circle of influence, online and off.
Wikipedia explains it this way
Crowd funding (sometimes called crowd financing, crowd sourced capital, or street performer protocol) describes the collective cooperation, attention and trust by people who network and pool their money and other resources together, usually via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations.
Crowd funding occurs for any variety of purposes, from disaster relief to citizen journalism to artists seeking support from fans, to political campaigns, to funding a startup company or small business or creating free software.
Do projects here offer any equity?
Absolutely not. No offer of equity is allowed at any time. This is due to legalities and regulations beyond our purpose. Funds being offered to any project on this site are to be considered pledges only, meaning gifts.
Why do people fund projects?
Evidence suggests that people love to help others make their dreams come true. Perhaps it’s a “pay it forward” kind of passion. When they find a project that they can relate to, or are impressed with, they are more likely to want to help out, fund the project, and feel a part of it. Other times, it might be the reward offered for helping to fund a project. The reasons are varied.
What does it cost to submit a project?
There’s no charge to submit a project. Once you reach your goal, our fee* for services and all payment processing fees are deducted before the funds are released to you. (*See the fee structure here — listed in the FAQ sidebar.)
Do I need to register to fund or create a campaign?
Yes but we keep your information private and do not share it with anyone outside of this site or the campaign you fund. Register here >> (You can view all of our policies here)
Are donations tax deductible?
No. This is not a charity or any other type of tax deductible gift.
Where do I submit my campaign?
The project submission form is located here. You’ll need to register first. There is also a FAQ for submitting projects on the same page.

Do you help people create successful campaigns?
CrowdFunding LIVE provides the platform for your project and offers information on how to market and promote it. The success of your campaign is up to you. You need to promote it to your friends, family, fans, followers and others yourself.
Of course, we do use Twitter, Facebook and other social networks (plus our blog) to help promote this site and its projects as we can. However, you’ll need to contact us to share your posts because we cannot watch every marketing effort being posted for every project. Send an email with a link firstname.lastname@example.org to alert our team of your efforts on social spaces.
